Solicitations by Staff Members

The Board of Education, recognizing its responsibility in the matter of solicitations, shall strive to safeguard from exploitation the students, parents, staff members, school system and community.

Therefore, no staff member shall use professional relationships with students for private advantage; nor shall any staff member use his/her position to influence parents or students of the school system to purchase instructional supplies, club/team uniforms, equipment or books, or sell to any student or parent any instructional supplies, equipment or books except those expressly approved for classroom or school-related use by the office of the Superintendent.

No staff member shall furnish lists of students or parents names, addresses and telephone numbers, or any other information, to anyone for solicitations unless prior approval is granted by the Office of the Superintendent.
