Administration

Administrative and Supervisory Personnel

In addition to the Superintendent of Schools, as required in the General Statutes, other administrative and supervisory positions in the school system will be established by the Board of Education in order to promote the attainment of school system goals. 

In each case, the Board of Education will approve the broad purpose and function of the position in harmony with the General Statutes and State Department of Education regulations, approve a statement of job requirements as recommended by the Superintendent, and delegate to the Superintendent the responsibility for preparing a job description for the approved position.
